WBUR Field Trip: Running Club

Boston's running community leaders gathered at WBUR's City Space for Field Trip: Running Club, an event highlighting the vibrant running community that defines Boston as a running city. Trailblazhers, November Project, Black Men Run Boston, Pioneers, LiveFit Army, and the Heartbreakers all shared their origin and mission. Watch the conversation below.

From WBUR: "Boston is one of the best cities for running in the world, from beautiful trails along the Charles River and through the iconic Emerald Necklace, to hosting the historic Boston Marathon. Sure there’s prestige, but Boston is for all kinds of runners — new, old, fast and slow. The culture is supported by many organizations that you should know whether you’re new to running, a veteran hare or just curious.

Several leaders in the Boston running community joined Steven Davy, WBUR senior producer, for a conversation all about Boston running groups, crews and support networks for your running adventures."

From WBUR: "WBUR is Boston’s NPR. A public media leader committed to exceptional journalism on-air, online, on-demand and on stage. Our mission is to produce high-quality journalism and enriching experiences that foster understanding, connection and community for an expanding circle of people. Our vision is to become a daily habit for every person in Boston and beyond who seeks to engage with the most consequential issues of our times."
